The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to the catalogue description:
- a very fine paper split at upper centre between the branches of the tree at right (circa 15 mm.).
- another just above the upper ribbon at upper left and another between and just below the two shields at upper left.
- a few tiny brown spots at upper right.
- the usual central horizontal fold, flattened and unobtrusive, mainly visible in raking light verso.
- remains of old glassine hinges at the left sheet edge verso.
- some offsetting from another print verso.
Otherwise as described and in very good condition, mounted and unframed.
