The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Doetecum:
- with narrow to small margins
- very pale mount staining and a pinpoint foxmark in the lower margin.
- with a flattened vertical central crease mostly visible verso
- extensive offsetting from another impression of the same print verso

Capitelli:
- trimmed inside the platemark but outside the borderline, trimmed just fractionally into the border below
- a tiny nick at the upper right corner, another at the lower left corner

Ostade G. 40:
- trimmed just inside the platemark but outside of the borderline on all sides
- some minor staining and a few foxmarks
- tipped to the mount at the upper corners
