The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to or in elaboration of the catalogue entry:
- with small margins
- a 32 x 18 mm. area at the upper left sheet edge into the black border made-up with pen and ink
- a 10 mm. repaired tear at the left sheet edge
- a flattened horizontal crease at centre and a flattened diagonal crease at upper left
- some staining at the sheet edges and some thin spots
