This small painting is executed on a uniformly thin flat sheet of copper. The paint layer is stable under a clear varnish. In raking light small losses in the background, face, and hair are visible. These have been delicately restored. Old restorations in the white lace have discolored slightly over time. The aforementioned restorations fluoresce in ultraviolet light. The painting is offered in a gilt wood frame.
