The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The sheet is hinged periodically along the upper edge to the backing board and undulates slightly. The upper, lower and right edges are deckled. Pinholes with associated tears are to the corners, presumably a vestige of the artist's process. A small tear is to the left upper edge and one is near the center right edge. Two spots of lifting are to the right upper edge underneath the artist's signature and small spots of lifting are to the center, all presumably related to the artist's working method. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
