The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Not examined out of frame. The sheet appears to be hinged in places to the underlying support. There is slight wear to the lower corners, with an associated soft fold to the lower left corner, as visible in the online illustration. There is a soft linear impression to the upper right vertical edge, presumably occurring in the artist’s studio, and a faint pinpoint of discolouration to the centre of the sheet. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work is in generally good condition. Frame: 20 1/4 x 16 1/2in. (51.5 x 42cm.)
