The sheet is free floating in its frame. A pinhole is visible lower center and tape residue is visible to the upper edge, presumably a vestige of the artist's working method. Soiling, discoloration and pinpoint spots of foxing are visible to the sheet, most prominently to the edges, including a circular stain at the left edge. A few pinpoint abrasions with associated loss are visible in the left quadrant in a black passage. A few small spots of discoloration and associated staining are visible to the left and center figures. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
