MING DYNASTY (1368-1644)

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
-There are age cracks to both interior and exterior of the tray, consistent with age
-The foot ring might be off and reattached, with associated areas relacquered
-There is extensive relacquering, especially to the rocks on the interior
-There are some flakes to the lacquer, some of which been stabilised
-There are some nicks and chips to the edges and extremities
