The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
white-glazed jars and covers:
- both covers have been broken and restored

a sancai-glazed vessel：
- The handle has been off and lost
- There are chips to both mouth and foot rims

a model of a mandarin duck：
- a few expected chips and nicks to raised decoration, edges and extremities

a white-glazed four-handled jar：
- all four lug handles have been restored
- there are chips to the foot
