The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
The grey-jade blade:
- There are two chips to one corner.
- There are two hairline cracks.
The ochre-jade blade:
- There is a very small chip to one edge.
The mottled-grey jade blade:
- There are a few nicks to the edges.
The mottled-green jade blade:
- The jade is altered to one end and a chip.
The jade bi:
- There are two rim chips with infill.
- There are some nicks and small chips to the rims.
All pieces with natural fissures, nicks and general surface wear.
