QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
The dragon jarlet:
- There is some firing imperfections, including a firing crack to the base, measuring approx. 1 cm, and some scattered iron spots, predominantly to the interior.
- Otherwise, this is in overall fairly good condition.

The ‘lotus’ jarlet:
- There is a short hairline crack to the mouth rim, measuring approx. 1.5 cm long.
- There is some firing imperfections to the lower body and the base.

The rectangular jarlet:
- There glaze has some firing imperfection, including glaze gaps and short glaze cracks to the interior.
- There are a few nicks to the edges.
