The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips, cracks or restorations detected. Light surface dirt, scuffs and handling marks. The handle securely attached. A very fine stable crack on the inner rim of the arms, consistent with the firing process. Two ventilation holes at each underarm, dating from the time of execution and consistent with the artist's technique and edition design. The underneath with vestiges of old adhesive, and a rectangular paper label. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the present work appears to be in generally very good condition.
