The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No cracks detected. The mouth with two small chips to the glaze; the left eye with a small chip to the glaze; the upper right rim with a small chip to the glaze: all with evidence of cosmetic retouching. The rim with one or two nicks to the glaze. Pitting and crazing to the glaze in places, from the time of firing. Minor surface dirt. The underside with three footmarks from the time of firing. The underside with remnants of old adhesives.
