The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips or restorations detected. Light overall surface dirt, with a few scattered pinpoint accretions in the body of the owl. There are three very fine scuffs to the center right edge in the owl’s wing, possibly from the time of firing. Minor wear to the rim. There are two very fine cracks to the underside, from the time of firing, as well as adhesive remnants to the underside, not visible from the front.
