The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips, cracks or restorations detected. The handle securely attached. An extremely fine firing crack inside the spout and a tiny loss to the black glaze at the rim. One or two further tiny losses to glaze elsewhere. Very light surface dirt to the inside, soft scuffs and handling marks in places. The underneath with wear and fritting to the footrim with associated tiny losses. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the present work appears to be in generally very good condition.
