The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
No cracks or restorations detected. Fine crazing to the white glaze, inherent to the medium. Small imperfections to the glaze from the time of execution. Fritting to the rim, with a few associated tiny chips. The underneath with light wear to the glaze. Three footmarks with associated losses, consistent with the removal of kiln furniture. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the present work appears to be in generally very good condition.
