The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips, cracks or restorations detected. The handle securely attached. A minute firing crack inside the spout. Light surface dirt, soft scratches and handling marks in places. The inside with an old ahesive label and some surface dirt. A tiny loss to the engobe at the spout and further imperfections at the centre of the handle. The underneath with fritting and wear. An old adhesive label and pencil inscriptions. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the present work appears to be in generally very good condition.
