The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips or cracks detected. A small restoration to the rim at the 5 o'clock position, mainly visible from the reverse. A small area of abrasion to the black engobe in the centre of the figure. Fritting to the white raised lines. A couple of tiny studio stains in places. The reverse with a soundly attached presentation hook and three footmarks from the time of execution. Some fritting to the underside of the rim at the the centre left. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the present work appears to be in generally good condition.
