The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips, cracks or restorations detected. A tiny, pinpoint loss to the left outer rim. A very fine surface scratch (approx. 4 cm. long) stemming from the upper left rim. Some inconsistencies to the black engobe in places, inherent to the artist's technique. A few soft, short and unobtrusive surface scuffs in places. Very light surface dirt in places. The underneath with three footmarks from the time of firing and some adhesive residue from an old label. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the present work appears to be in generally very good condition.
