The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No cracks or restorations detected. Fine networks of crazing to the glaze, inherent to the medium. Very minor fritting to the raised elements in the centre and to the far left. A tiny, unobtrusive chip to the lower centre rim. A soft surface scratch towards the upper right rim (approx. 0.5 cm in length). The underneath with some old adhesive residue, probably due to a historic label, and three footmarks from the time of firing. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the present work appears to be in generally very good condition.
