The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
No chips, cracks or restorations detected. One or two tiny nicks to the glaze on the rim and footrim. Crazing to the glaze in places, from the time of firing. One or two tiny pinpoint losses to the blue engobe upper right. The underside with three footmarks, from the time of firing. Subject to the foregoing it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
