Gerald F. Warburg (1901–1971), a cellist and patron of music, was married to the subject of these portraits, the former Natica Nast. Natica was the daughter of renown publisher, Condé Nast.

Warm hued image, on semi-gloss single weight paper with black margins, tipped to successively larger mounts. Soft creases in places, two areas of mottling in the upper image, and original artist's retouching throughout. The mount with typical evidence of age. Please note this print is sold unframed.
