The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
It is vital to monitor the specimens to see if they react to their temporary environment (leaves losing lustre, changing colour, dropping to ground or dying on the branch). If any of these occur it is likely that the environment is causing this, the first reaction should be to increase watering across the entire rootball top of each plant.
We suggest that 4-5 litres is slowly applied to each, once now and then weekly. The watering should occur slowly to there is no run off and when it starts leaching from the rootball, pause for a few hours or overnight.
