The support, stretcher and attachment are in generally good condition. There is surface dust and soiling in places. There are stretcher marks visible. There are few minor paint losses in places. There is some slight canvas draw visible to all edges, in keeping with the nature of the material used as a support. There is a vertical fold in the upper right quadrant. There is a small tear of 1.5cm to the upper right horizontal edge. There is an indent in the lower centre, and a smaller one in the upper centre. When examined under ultraviolet light, there is a retouche of circa 1.5 x 3.5cm. visible to the lower right horizontal edge.
