The work is structurally sound. The canvas, stretcher and attachments are in generally good condition. There is surface dust and soiling in places. The impasto is well preserved. There is some minor craquelures in places, in keeping with the nature of the medium. There are few minor material losses in places. There is some minor rubbing to the impasto tips. There is minute wear with some associated losses on the extreme edges and corners. There are stretcher marks visible towards the extreme edges in places. There are handling marks, chip losses and other small defects to the white frame. The frame is slightly discoloured. Examination under ultra violet light shows no indication of inpainting. It is our opinion that the work is in good condition.
