The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is structurally sound. The canvas, stretcher and attachments are in generally good condition. The canvas is slack to the stretcher. All elements appear to be present, and adhere well to the underlying support. There are some folds and surface irregularities in places, coherent with the artist's working process and the nature of the material used. Examination under ultra violet light shows no indication of inpainting. It is our opinion that the work is in very good condition.
