The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

(i) The canvas, stretcher and attachments are in generally good condition. The canvas is slack to the stretcher. There is paper tape along the turnover edges. There is some minor wear to the corners. It is our opinion that the work is in good condition.
(ii) The canvas, stretcher and attachments are in generally good condition. There is some minor wear to the extreme edges and corners. There are surface irregularities in places, coherent with the artist's working method. It is our opinion that the work is in good condition.
