Planten (Plants)

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas, stretcher and attachments are in generally good condition. There are handling marks in places. There are minor surface irregularities in places, coherent with the artist's working process. There is soft staining in places. There is a soft abrasion in the black passage in the lower left quadrant. Examination under ultra violet light shows no indication of inpainting. It is our opinion that the work is in good condition.
