The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is hinged in places on the reverse to its underlying support. The sheet is stapled to the corners. There are artist's staples holes to the upper left corner. The edges are uneven and there is a soft crease to the extreme lower left corner. There are a few minute paint losses to the extreme right vertical edge and two to the upper and lower centre. There is pinpoint foxing in places to the left vertical margin. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
