The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged in places on the reverse to its underlying support. All elements appear to be present and adhere well to their underlying support. The edges are slightly uneven, and the sheet undulates slightly. There are some soft creases and faint skinning in places, and a few minute tears to the extreme edges of the collage elements, presumably all in keeping with artist's working method. When examined under ultraviolet light there appears to be no evidence of retouching. Subject to the foregoing it is our view that the work appears to be in very good condition.
