The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Not examined out of frame. The sheet is stapled in places to its underlying support. The vertical edges are deckled. The sheet undulates slightly. There are a few staple holes with associated pinpoint tears to the vertical edges, presumably in keeping with the artist's working method. There are a few pinpoint spots of skinning in places. There is a hairline tear to the extreme upper left horizontal edge, measuring approximately 1cm. in length. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
