The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Not examined out of frame. The sheet appears to be hinged in places on the reverse to its underlying support. The horizontal edges are deckled. The sheet undulates slightly at the extreme vertical edges. There is a minute accretion to the upper right quadrant. There are three faint hairline abrasions to the upper centre of the composition, presumably studio related. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
