Holly Solomon loved the work of Nabil Nahas and presented two solo exhibition of the artist’s paintings in the late 1980’s. Untitled dates from that period and was gifted by the artist to Holly directly. This multi-layered abstract picture shimmers with coats of red, black and gold and evokes a visceral reaction and harkens back to the energy of high abstract expressionism in the early post-war period.
