The canvas, stretcher and attachments appear to be in generally good condition. There is minor rubbing in places to the extreme edges. There are minor hairline tension cracks to the extreme edges and right vertical edge. There are a few planar inconsistencies. There are few pinpoint accretions in places, predominantly to the upper right qudrant. When examined under ultraviolet light the work fluoresces unevenly however not in a manner consistent with retouching. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
