The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is structurally sound. There are surface inconsistencies in places to the frame, in keeping with the artist's chosen medium. The edges of the sheet are deckled. The sheet undulates slightly and there are associated creases in places. There are a few minor accretions in places, most notably to the edges, in keeping with the artist's working method. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
