Kornfeld records two proof impressions before the edition and a total of ten unnumbered impressions aside from the edition, including three inscribed . The present impression may be one of those three.
There was also the unlimited, unsigned magazine edition on different paper and with a vertical central fold, published in , Paris, no. 98, June 1957.
