The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- the lower sheet edge slightly irregular, possibly fractionally reduced (F&S. call for dimensions of 1000 x 800 mm.)
- the diamond dust particularly thickly encrusted.
- an ink loss at the lower left sheet tip.
- a vertical line of tiny surface accretions in places along the upper right sheet edge, presumably offset from the frame.
- some loose diamond dust and associated minor scratches near the lower edge, as is common with the Royal Edition of this print.
- numerous, small pressure marks caused by framing nails along the extreme edges verso, faintly visible in a raking light recto.
Otherwise as described and in generally good condition.
