- a few small and skillfully repaired areas of creasing with associated ink losses and cracking, at the extreme upper and right sheet edges.
- a few areas of minor ink loss and cracking at the extreme sheet edges.
- light cockling to the sheet, mainly visible in a raking light, as is common with this print.
- some areas of cracking in the upper background, as is common with this print.
- some fine and unobtrusive scratches in places.
- some light scuff marks visible in the printed black of the subject's hair and right eye.
- backboard-staining and some areas of moisture-staining verso.
- a few tiny spots of skinning, with one just touching the A of the artist's signature verso.
