The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- the full sheet.
- the red colour slightly attenuated, as is common with this print.
- some scuffing across the sheet, with thin lines of pigment loss in places (with some retouching).
- some oxidisation in the gold pigment.
- a small abrasion at the lower sheet edge.
- a couple of short tears (5mm.) and associated minor creasing at the left sheet edge.
- some very minor soft creases, mainly visible in a raking light.
- on the reverse, very minor, remains of adhesive tape at the upper sheet edge and some minor skinning at the upper corners.
Otherwise as described and generally in good condition.
