The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- a few fox spots on the blank opening sheets.
- minor fox spots throughout the sheets and plates.
- To Remain with a large brown spot.
- minor and unobtrusive handling marks throughout.
- the exposed sheet edges with minor time staining.
- the magenta cotton silk boards with minor fraying at extreme corners.
- the black slipcase with some fraying along the edges and corners, and with some scuffing/dirt.
