The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- the full sheet, with a deckle edge on three sides.
- the edition number '70' written over a '0'.
- a brown foxspot in the unprinted area of the lower sheet.
- occasional and unobtrusive pinpoint foxspots across the sheet.
- two horizontal undulations across the centre of the sheet, mainly visible in a raking light.
- hinged with paper tape at the upper sheet corners verso.
Otherwise as described and in generally good condition.
