The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- some foxspots across the sheet.
- a small semi-circular paper loss (20 mm. wide) near the upper right corner.
- some handling creases across the sheet (mainly visible in a raking light)
- a few short vertical creases (circa 25 mm.) in places at the upper sheet edge, with other vertical creases along the right sheet edge.
- some brown staining and light skinning at the upper corners verso, resultant from previous hinges.
- hinged with paper tape at the upper corners verso.
Otherwise as described and in generally good condition.
