The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- with wide, slightly irregular margins.
- with stray red ink near the lower right corner, and a few other minor marks in the margins.
- very pale light-staining.
- occasional and unobtrusive foxspots in the margins.
- hinged with japan hinges in two places at the upper sheet edge verso.
Otherwise as described and in generally good condition.
