The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- the full sheet, with a deckle edge above and below.
- with pale light-staining and backboard staining.
- a couple of very minor moisture stains along the lower sheet edge.
- a few pale pinpoint foxmarks in places.
- scattered pale foxing on the reverse.
- Adhesive remains in places on the reverse (not showing through).
- hinged with a narrow band of paper tape along the upper sheet edge on the reverse.
