The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue entry:
- with margins, a deckle edge below. Fractionally trimmed at right (Lullin calls for a width of 844 mm., and the sheet measures 835 mm.).
- a soft diagonal crease, approx. 30 cm. in length from the centre to the right sheet edge.
- some handling indentations across the sheet (only visible in a raking light).
- a small (6 x 4 mm.) spot of stray printing ink in the upper right background, retouched with white.
- some unobtrusive fine scuffs in the pale grey at lower left, and some other soft scuffs in the silver at right (mainly visible in a raking light).
- a short crease at the tip of the lower right corner.
- with backboard staining verso, showing through at the sheet edges recto, the sheet is loose but has been resting on an acidic board in the 1960s frame.
- some foxmarks verso (not visible recto).
Otherwise as described, and in good condition.
