A group of five netsuke comprising a carved wood netsuke of a Dutchman putting on his shoe, partially decorated in gold lacquer, signature on back side; a carved wood netsuke of Hotei and a Chinese child, signature on underside; a carved wood netsuke of Jurojin on a stag's back; a carved wood netsuke of a seated child holding a basket; a porcelain netsuke of standing Hotei
The first 1 1/2 in. (3.8 cm.) high; the second 1 5/8 in. (4.1 cm.) long; the third 2 5/8 in. (6.7 cm.) high; the fourth 1 1/4 in. (3.2 cm.) long; the fifth 1 5/8 in. (4.1 cm.) high
