The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The bowl with one handle off and reattached with subsequent losses to the agate and glue residue, with deep fissures emanating from the losses, one 21⁄4 in. long, one 3/4 in. long, and one 11⁄4 in. long, and some rubbing to the gold mounts, the paperweight with some minor scratches consistent with age and use with some tarnish to the inscriptions, the paperclip with some scratches throughout from use, the travel clock in good condition, with quartz movement and numbered 4509 to the back, please note that Christie's does not guarantee the working order of clocks.
