The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
With some minor scratches consistent with age and use, with some losses and rubbing to the niello decoration overall, some bends to the rim of cover, the foot slightly raised but stable, a few small dimples to body, through at the assay mark.
