The sheet is hinged along the upper edge to the backing board and undulates slightly. Artist's pinholes with small tears are visible to the upper edge, presumably a vestige of the artist's working process. A few pinpoint accretions are visible under close inspection. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
