Some scratches and wear throughout, consistent with age and handling; scattered minor kiln imperfections, in the making, including a few small divots to the body and glaze gaps; the dish previously in two large sections and repaired, the repair lines extending from the rim radially into the center and skirting the edge of the central boss, one of the repairs branching at the rim where a smaller crescent-shaped piece was also previously off and reattached; the repairs with some associated touch-up to the colors and several old 'staples' to the underside, the staples generally not visible from the front but showing through associated chipped losses in four spots at the well; one additional repaired shallow chip to the rim (approx. ¹⁄₂ in. long); generally with small chips, flakes and losses, commensurate with age, mainly to raised areas; an oval metal mount for wall-hanging attached, with six brackets anchoring it to the rim at the front.
